Attend A Course

Point Guard College serves as a valuable "coaching clinic" for coaches (called "Observing Coaches") who are hungry for the kind of knowledge and fresh ideas that will get their teams to the next level.

Observing Coaches sit in on all of the classroom, video-analysis and on-court sessions, and can take notes on all of the unique drills, drill progressions, concepts and principles that are taught at Point Guard College.

Observing Coaches benefit from daily discussions with other attending coaches and interact with Point Guard College staff and participating athletes throughout the week. Observing Coaches also benefit from a "coaches-only" open-forum discussion with the director of the course.

Point Guard College offers four courses for athletes and coaches. The tuition fee for Observing Coaches is $475 per week-long session and includes meals, and a single room for the week.

HAIL, HAIL, POINT GUARD COLLEGE! (Excerpts from Basketball Times article, © Lindell Singleton, 2003.)
“I’ve been on a crusade to find out where we’ve gone astray with youth basketball in America. Somewhere, the simple skills of how to think the game and play the game have been trumped by the often-used word that makes college coaches drip at the mouth: athleticism. My quest took me to the Point Guard College. And, believe me, when they say college, they really mean college. It’s a basketball baccalaureate. It’s a finishing school where you learn all the things that good players know, but someone forgot to tell you. It is for serious players who want knowledge that will change their game. This is a basketball coaches’ Nirvana.”
—Coach Lindell Singleton is a 2002 recipient of the Fort Worth (Texas) Star-Telegram's Coach of the Year award.
